Transitional Jackets for Every Occasion

As we end January, it is cold cold cold!!! But, we are thinking warm warm warm!!! All of us are looking forward to spring and warmer weather. Perhaps spring will allow us to get back to more of a normal routine with some date nights and events in the picture. If we are still mostly working from home and only participating in small group events within our “pod,” we still want to look and feel great.

So, this week I’m focusing on transitional jackets. A nice jacket can spruce up your outfit whether you are participating in a Zoom meeting, gathering with some friends, or going on a date night.

I am new to the fashion world and loving it. My daughter, Betsy, and I own two Scout & Molly’s Boutiques – one in Reston Town Center and one in Ballston Quarter. Our stores are part of a franchise that allows its owners to curate their own collections. So, we are able to match the vendors and designs we bring into our stores to our customers. In our Ballston store you will find trendy, reasonably priced clothes for a casual outing, your workday, and special occasions along with lots of fun accessories and gift ideas! Before Betsy and I started this adventure, I enjoyed a career in the private sector offering consulting services to small and medium sized companies. I also devoted a lot of my time to health, educational, cultural, and social service boards. Most recently, I served as Chairman of the Congressional Commission to Study the Potential for an American Women’s History Museum as part of the Smithsonian.
