Scout & Molly’s Summer Sale Starts Early!

Yes, there is still much uncertainty about COVID-19, the economy, the retail sector, school schedules, and more. But, let’s give credit where credit is due. We have survived a very difficult time. There may be more to come, but I think it’s important to stop and appreciate all that we have endured. As a locally-owned small business, I’m dealing with the same things you are. But, I’m optimistic. We opened our Reston store three weeks ago and it feels good to begin to see our customers venture out to see us. Our Ballston Quarter store has been open by private appointment until this past week. Now we will be open Friday and Saturdays from 12pm – 6pm and available by private appointment all other days. My goal is to get back to our regular schedule as soon as the environment allows.

I received most of my spring shipment right before we had to close. So, I’ve decided to start our Summer Sale earlier than usual to clear our racks and make room for new arrivals. And, I want to give our customers a little cheer!

Shop in our Ballston Quarter store or online and receive 40 percent off everything (face masks, Joseph Ribkoff, Spanx, and Brighten excluded). We have wonderful rompers, dresses, shorts, t-shirts, and more.

I am new to the fashion world and loving it. My daughter, Betsy, and I own two Scout & Molly’s Boutiques – one in Reston Town Center and one in Ballston Quarter. Our stores are part of a franchise that allows its owners to curate their own collections. So, we are able to match the vendors and designs we bring into our stores to our customers. Thus, you will find unique items in both of our stores. In our Ballston store you will find trendy, reasonably priced clothes for a casual outing, your workday, and special occasions along with lots of fun accessories and gift ideas! Before Betsy and I started this adventure, I enjoyed a career in the private sector offering consulting services to small and medium sized companies. I also devoted a lot of my time to health, educational, cultural, and social service boards. Most recently, I served as Chairman of the Congressional Commission to Study the Potential for an American Women’s History Museum as part of the Smithsonian.

We truly believe that no one style fits all and that we have to have choices for our customers so that she can find something that makes her feel beautiful and comfortable. Our stylists can help our clients step outside their comfort zone, find new trends and approaches to their style in a comfortable environment.

Our team believes that we should always treat each person that walks through our doors like we want to be treated and we strive to do that each and every day. We take our clients seriously. They become like family, stopping to see what’s new and to catch up with their favorite stylist. We hope that our clients feel like they are shopping in their best friend’s closet.
