Scout & Molly’s Wants to be Your Forever Fashion Partner

First, I’d like to thank Leigh, our editor, and everyone connected to the production of Arlington Stylebook for their dedication, professionalism, and creativity. I have enjoyed collaborating with you over these past several months. I’d also like to thank the other businesses for such great content. I have learned so much from all of your posts.

As Arlington Stylebook comes to a close, my Scout & Molly’s Boutique in Ballston Quarter is also making a change. We have made the hard decision to re-locate. While our physical store has moved, we want to remain your go-to store for all of your fashion and gift needs. Visit us online at or text Jane at 703.362.5860 and we will take care of you. We’d also love for you to stop by our other two stores located in Reston Town Center (across from the Apple Store) and Annapolis Towne Centre (located next to Baltimore Coffee & Tea Co.)

Additionally, we’d love to do a “pop-up” shop in your business or home. We can do physical or virtual events! We also love to participate in charitable events! Just call or text me – my cell is 703.362.5860 – we’d love to collaborate.

For the remainder of February, we are having a flash sale on sweaters online and in our Reston Store. All sweaters are 25% off. While we still have some very cold days ahead of us, we are making space for our new spring arrivals. So, now is the time to get some fabulous sweaters – including our new spring sweaters.

Shop online here. Your discount will be automatically added to your cart. You are welcome to pick up your purchase in our Reston Store or we are happy to ship to you!

Here are some of the great sweaters that are part of our flash sale:

Looking ahead – we will be having a Liverpool Denim event on March 10 in our Reston Store and online. Please be sure to follow up on Facebook and Instagram so you don’t miss out!

I am new to the fashion world and loving it. My daughter, Betsy, and I own two Scout & Molly’s Boutiques – one in Reston Town Center and one in Ballston Quarter. Our stores are part of a franchise that allows its owners to curate their own collections. So, we are able to match the vendors and designs we bring into our stores to our customers. Thus, you will find unique items in both of our stores. In our Ballston store you will find trendy, reasonably priced clothes for a casual outing, your workday, and special occasions along with lots of fun accessories and gift ideas! Before Betsy and I started this adventure, I enjoyed a career in the private sector offering consulting services to small and medium sized companies. I also devoted a lot of my time to health, educational, cultural, and social service boards. Most recently, I served as Chairman of the Congressional Commission to Study the Potential for an American Women’s History Museum as part of the Smithsonian.

We truly believe that no one style fits all and that we have to have choices for our customers so that she can find something that makes her feel beautiful and comfortable. Our stylists can help our clients step outside their comfort zone, find new trends and approaches to their style in a comfortable environment.

Our team believes that we should always treat each person that walks through our doors like we want to be treated and we strive to do that each and every day. We take our clients seriously. They become like family, stopping to see what’s new and to catch up with their favorite stylist. We hope that our clients feel like they are shopping in their best friend’s closet.
